Saxon Packaging boosts design and production capacity with investments

Saxon Packaging continues to invest to improve the services it can offer to customers. To that end, it has recently invested in a new Dyss digital die cutting table from AG CAD.

For many years the company used two KM603A CAD tables – one for production (short runs) and one for sample making. They have both been excellent pieces of kit, but the team decided that now was the time for an upgrade, and this new equipment brings many benefits to clients.

With the new Dyss X5 digital die cutter, the company is now able to produce samples and short run orders for bespoke packaging faster than ever before.

Not only does the Dyss table offer high speed knife cutting and creasing, but it also comes with powerful front end control software. This allows the operators to choose the type of material being processed and will automatically set the perfect parameters, such as acceleration, speed, and depth.
