Roland DG celebrates grand opening of new Bristol office with Papergraphics partnership

Print Solutions

Roland DG has announced the official opening of its new UK headquarters in Stoke Gifford, Bristol on Tuesday 2 July, marking a significant milestone in the company's growth and commitment to the UK market.

The official opening event included a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony at the new office located a stone’s throw away from major transportation arteries such as the M4 and M5. Employees, dealers, and partners attended the event to mark the occasion.

A highlight of the new office is its vibrant interior graphics, designed in collaboration with UK based authorised dealer, Papergraphics. The office features Papergraphics' Digimura 2.1 wallcoverings and Digiflör display flooring, selected for their quality and versatility.

Digimura 2.1, known for its durability and exceptional print quality, has transformed the office walls into vibrant canvases that reflect Roland DG's innovative spirit. This 350 g/m2 fabric backed wallcovering, with its coating for enhanced ink reception, is ideal for high traffic areas and provides long term antibacterial and antifungal protection at the office location.

Complementing the wallcoverings, Digiflör cushioned vinyl flooring has been used to create dynamic and eye catching floor spaces. Perfect for medium traffic areas, Digiflör offers excellent print performance with UV curable and Latex inks, and its dry, non slip, and fire resistant properties make it an ideal choice for the new office environment.

‘These materials not only enhance the visual appeal of the space but also contribute to a professional and inspiring atmosphere,’ said Stephen Davis, marketing director EMEA and managing director for UK and Ireland at Roland DG. ‘We chose Papergraphics for our office transformation because of our long standing relationship and its range of high quality materials. The commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction made the company the ideal partner for this project, ensuring we could create a space that reflects our goals to empower creativity worldwide.’

‘We are really pleased to have contributed to the impressive new Roland DG creative centre,’ said John Selby, CEO of Papergraphics. ‘Our Digimura 2.1 wallcoverings and Digiflör display flooring have helped create a space that is both functional and inspiring. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Roland DG and supporting their future endeavours.’

Event attendees also explored Roland DG’s new creative centre within the headquarters, showcasing the versatility of its machines and their wide range of applications. This centre includes a dedicated area for DG Dimense applications for home decor and wall coverings, as well as dental milling technology from DGShape, serving as an EMEA hub for innovation and inspiration across various industries from signage to dental milling.
