Pureprint Group has acquired Ashford Colour Press from administration, strengthening its position in the print and publishing sector by extending its capabilities into inkjet printing and enhancing its digital and on-demand print solutions.
The acquisition secures Ashford Colour Press’s factory in Gosport, Hampshire, with all jobs retained as part of the deal. Pureprint plans to reconfigure the site to focus on Ashford’s advanced inkjet and digital print capabilities.
Ashford’s client base will benefit from a greatly expanded product and service offering, while Pureprint’s existing clients will also benefit from the group’s enhanced manufacturing capabilities at the Gosport site, particularly in inkjet and on-demand printing.

This acquisition allows us to broaden our client base and enhance our offerings for key sectors while securing Ashford’s talented and dedicated team.’
