Premier brews up another successful display at Sign & Digital UK

Print Solutions Wide Format Solutions

Premier made a significant impact at this year’s Sign & Digital UK in Birmingham.

The marketing team recognised the need to engage visitors with a presence that highlighted the versatility and quality of the products, in a real world setting – and the café themed stand was born.

At first glance, Premier’s stand looked and functioned much like an actual high street café. However, on closer inspection it transpired that the café had been almost entirely constructed and dressed with products from an arsenal of sign and display substrates.

‘This was our most ambitious stand to date,’ said Lizzie Dodd, Premier’s assistant marketing manager. ‘We featured around 25 products within the stand’s construction and a further 40 as printed samples. Inside the café itself almost every surface was either wrapped in self-adhesive vinyl like Drytac Paper Fleece Smooth or clad in one of our sheet media products like eTEC ACM. We even had bin units built out of Foamalux Eco Black!’

Visitors to the stand engaged with a variety of sign and display materials, in application based settings that demonstrating their practical uses. In addition, Premier’s stand featured both internal and external elements, with plenty of similarly themed meeting space. As part of the external build, Premier’s contractor DCE built two sections of brick wall specifically to demonstrate Drytac Street FX’s and Polar HiGrab Air’s ability to adhere to tricky, uneven surfaces.

Alongside its team of industry experts, Premier was joined by professional barista Koala Koffee, inviting visitors to discuss products, projects and solutions over a tasty coffee.

Premier supplied the exhibition’s show bags from group partners WBC and further demonstrating its commitment to the industry, sponsored the Environmental Excellence category at the Sign Industry Awards; celebrating the achievements of companies within the industry. Additionally, Premier’s director of Wide Format Media, Brad West, took part in a live panel discussion, sharing insights and engaging with industry leaders in the Big Sustainability Debate.

‘We are thrilled with the overall positive response we received at Sign & Digital UK,’ Lizzie continued. ‘Sign & Digital UK is always an important date in our calendar and provides the perfect platform to showcase the latest products and innovations, whilst engaging with the sign and display market. Furthermore, our sponsorship of the Sign Industry Awards demonstrates our continued commitment to the sign and display market.’
