Print Solutions

Markzware, in a groundbreaking move, has announced support for Microsoft Publisher files. The file conversion and inventory functionality for MSPub is now included in the pre-release of MarkzPortal and the desktop version, OmniMarkz.

Powered by the MarkzAPIs, MarkzPortal is a SaaS solution that supports the previewing, converting, and file inventory reporting of PDF documents, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, image formats, and now also Microsoft Publisher.

Starting today, users will be able to harness the power of converting Microsoft Publisher files like never before! With this exciting new feature, printers, publishers, and businesses of all sizes can now democratise their MSPub content in both MarkzPortal and OmniMarkz.

All users, after subscribing, will receive a free preview of their document, then are provided several data conversion options. A popular one is Microsoft Publisher to Adobe InDesign. MS Pub to Affinity Publisher is also frequently requested. MarkzPortal also provides an ‘Export for AI’ feature for structuring data by allowing users to seamlessly export their content in AI ready formats, paving the way for advanced analysis, automation, and content generation.

Patrick Marchese, CEO and co-founder of Markzware, said: ‘We are excited that our engineering team has re-introduced Microsoft Publisher support in our standalone engine. Both our APIs and the MarkzPortal solutions provide platform independence for both Windows and macOS users as all major web browsers are supported.’

Ronald Crandall, chief engineer and co-founder of Markzware, added: ‘We are constantly being asked for MS Publisher support to IDML, InDesign, Affinity Publisher, and even QuarkXPress. We have offered this via our File Conversion service for years and are happy to be able to add this to our APIs and products.’
