Item Products will be showcasing its Corra-Screw innovation on stand 18 at the forthcoming UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show. The event, to be held on 28 and 29 June at St Georges Park (the FA’s national football centre), Burton-on-Trent, and hosted by the UK Sheet Plant Association, returns to the event calendar after a three year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Along with updating visitors on the growing product range, Item Products will be using the event to promote its all new ‘Corra-Screw’, a reusable fixing for corrugated packaging. Available in two sizes for both double and triple wall board grades, Corra-Screw is a low cost fixing to bind and release multiple layers of board. Being very quick and easy to use and perfect for reusable transit packaging and returnable goods, Corra-Screw can be secured by hand or with a screwdriver, and eliminates the need for tape or staples, thereby reducing damage to packaging. The product is robust, recyclable and made from 100% recycled material.
Julian Cook, managing director, said: ‘Showcasing Corra-Screw at the UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show provides the perfect opportunity to plug the attributes of this simple, yet effective innovation and hopefully drive interest and sales. It is also great to be able to discuss what is new in our product portfolio and reconnect with visitors once again. We have a well established reputation in the marketplace for developing innovative, environmentally efficient solutions and I am sure that we can look forward to a busy and productive two days.’
Item Products' extensive product portfolio also includes carry handles for cartons, connecting clips for corrugated board, hooks, studs and rivets for merchandising units, wheels and stabilisers for big or heavy packs and garment rails for wardrobe boxes.
