Across seven, targeted, invitation only events at Fujifilm’s Print Experience Centre in Brussels, visitors were treated to a deep dive into Fujifilm inkjet technology, in particular the Jet Press 750S High Speed Model and the Jet Press 1160CFG.
Getting the most out of Fujifilm inkjet technology was the core theme of the events, which ran over seven non consecutive days, from early to late November. With an emphasis on live, hands on demonstrations, the events provided customers with valuable practical experience as well as large amounts of detailed information.
Grzegorz Szymanko, solution manager for digital press solutions at Fujifilm Europe, ran sessions on ‘inkjet economics’ throughout the seven daily events.
He commented, ‘I have only recently joined Fujifilm, but I bring decades of experience in digital print technology, particularly in inkjet. I am excited to be part of the team, helping print businesses discover their unique ‘sweet spot’ – the perfect balance between speed, productivity, and quality. This balance is different for every job, and our role is to empower businesses to find it, enabling them to unlock new applications, drive volume, and deliver greater value to their customers.
‘In particular, during the sessions we ran in Brussels this month, I focused on demonstrating how to optimise ink use on Fujifilm’s inkjet presses. This is critical not only for controlling costs but also for streamlining production processes and improving sustainability by reducing energy consumption during drying. Fujifilm’s inkjet presses feature intuitive tools that make it easy to ensure ink is used efficiently, with maximum ink application reserved for the ultra high quality jobs that demand it.’
The company also featured online coating solutions for the Jet Press 750S with the Phoenix 30 flood coater running in the Print Experience Centre. Later in the day a live link with Fujifilm in Chicago USA featured the new Kompac Onyx 30i in line with the Jet Press 750S for spot
coating, with both UV and water based coatings.
In addition to this, finishing solutions from Tecnau were also featured, ensuring visitors were exposed to a huge range of potential creative applications using the Jet Press 1160CFG roll to roll press.
The show was carefully structured to maximise engagement and collaboration, with sessions tailored country by country to foster stronger local networking and open discussions among customers. This approach encouraged a dynamic exchange of ideas and insights, enabling attendees to connect and learn from each other's experiences.
Emphasising the importance of customer partnerships, the company invited Jet Press customers Printec, from Germany, and Torby Duet from Poland to share their own stories and experiences with visitors. Their contributions were valuable and inspirational, clearly demonstrating transformative applications of the inkjet technology.
Taro Aoki, head of digital press solutions, Fujifilm EMEA, commented: ‘We are delighted with the success of our latest Peak Performance Print events and the hugely encouraging feedback we have had from customers who travelled from all over Europe to attend. Those who came returned with invaluable insights into Fujifilm inkjet expertise and technology, and the potentially transformative impact it can have on their own businesses.’
