It was Flexa's first experience of the recent drupa exhibition, but it was a positive one.
Massimo Vettorazzo, president of Flexa, said: ‘We made hundreds of new contacts interested in all products in our portfolio. The visitors were well prepared and knew exactly what they were looking for, which made our presentations more effective. At our stand, we proudly showcased our technologies, lamination, and cutting solutions.’
The highlight was the launch of the new XY automatic cutter for digitally printed wallpaper, a real gamechanger. This cutter removes the need for touch ups to eliminate unpleasant white lines during installation (which are very visible on prints with dark colours). Its advanced, patent pending cutting system ensures perfect cuts, eliminating the ‘white core’ on the edges of patterns.
The growing shortage of skilled workers has led many businesses to consider how technology can fill this gap and maintain high quality standards. drupa was also a fantastic opportunity to strengthen partnerships with key players in the digital printing industry, from printer suppliers to software producers and worldwide distributors.
