EyeC to attend Mexico’s first label and package printing trade show

Packaging Solutions

EyeC will be exhibiting at Labelexpo Mexico 2023 from April 26 to 28 in Mexico City. At stand #N15, the global expert for automatic print inspection will showcase its latest solutions and exciting innovations that reflect the company's future oriented, creative, and pioneering approach. With its focus on Latin America, the EyeC team will make connections with label manufacturing businesses to learn how the company can help them serve the rapidly growing Mexican market.

At EyeC-America booth #N15, visitors can experience an exciting schedule of live demonstrations and new immersive features for quality control automatisation throughout the entire design and printing process. On display will be the scanner based EyeC Proofiler DT print sample inspection systems for sample sizes up to 50" x 36" (1270 x 915 mm) along with the EyeC Proofiler Graphic. The intelligent pre-press inspection systems automatically compare the entire print ready file or step and repeat files with the approved artwork, identifying errors more quickly and reliably than the human eye. All types of text, graphics, Braille, and 1D and 2D codes are graphically inspected in one single inspection process. The inspection system automatically surveys all elements of a PDF file in a few steps and displays any quality compromising culprits.

The company will also introduce its latest in line inspection systems from the EyeC ProofRunner HighLight series, aiming to meet the growing demands of customers in the premium market. The newest system generation includes four modular inspection systems for 100% inspection of highly finished labels (ProofRunner Web HighLight) and folding cartons (ProofRunner Carton HighLight). Thanks to innovative HighLight illumination, the systems quickly and reliably check the quality of labels and folding cartons with complex finishes such as hot stamping, holograms, or blind embossing. The UHD expansion mode offers exceptional image quality, even at larger inspection widths. With the latest high-speed and high resolution 8K colour camera, the UHD mode detects even the tiniest defects without sacrificing production speed. A higher number of pixels allows deviations to be delimited more precisely, ensuring 100% quality.

‘The event offers us unique opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of the trends and challenges of automatic print inspection in Latin America. At the same time, EyeC can increase its market reach by providing our business partners with tailor-made solutions,’ said Roy Jimenez, managing director of EyeC Quality Control Systems SA de CV.
