Epson launches new demo facility in Leicestershire

Print Solutions Label Solutions

Epson has announced the opening of its innovation centre in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. This facility offers businesses an exclusive opportunity to experience the full suite of its ColorWorks on-demand colour label printers, including the latest CW-D6500Pe dye ink model.

The facility is also home to Epson’s portfolio of large format printers and video projectors.

The Lutterworth showroom is designed to provide potential customers with a hands-on experience of the innovative ColorWorks printers. Visitors can explore the entire portfolio, from entry level models like the C3500, to advanced industrial solutions like the C8000, witnessing first hand the quality and versatility that the company’s on-demand colour label printers deliver.

The ColorWorks series is engineered to address the evolving needs of various industries, offering several key benefits.

They offer flexibility and efficiency. You can print labels as needed, reducing inventory and enabling quick updates—ideal for sectors like food and beverage, where ingredient and allergen information frequently changes.

On-demand printing also saves on waste (and storage) by printing only what you need, and represents a lower carbon footprint versus label outsourcing.

The devices allow the ability to produce vibrant colour labels to distinguish products within logistic processes, enhance product marketing, and convey critical information more effectively.

They also promise seamless automation. You can integrate label printing with Epson's robotic solutions to automate production processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

As an indirect sales organisation, Epson collaborates closely with a network of specialised resellers who can deliver tailored solutions to suit every labelling requirement. The new showroom serves as a pivotal touchpoint where businesses can engage directly with the technology, ensuring they make well informed choices. After experiencing the products, Epson will connect customers with the reseller best suited to manage their procurement and support needs.

Gavin Thurston, business development manager for ColorWorks, commented: ‘Our Lutterworth facility is an easy access location that enables businesses to put our products to the test before going further in their purchasing decision. Changing business regulations and environmental concerns have meant the demand for on-demand label printers has never been higher, and no other business is introducing new colour label solutions to the market quite like Epson.

‘If you are in the market for a labelling solution, or think you could benefit from being label production in-house, then please contact me to arrange a visit at gavin.thurston@epson.eu.’
