Delta Global has been awarded a gold award from EcoVadis.

With offices based around the world, including the UK, New York and Hong Kong, the international business pushes the boundaries of luxury packaging supply and distribution and prides itself on prioritising sustainability both in and out of the workplace. So much so, that sustainability is one of its key pillars, incorporating it into everything that it does.

And this is reflected in the latest gold standard accreditation, which is only awarded to businesses in the top 5%.

Robert Lockyer, founder and chief client officer, said: ‘Myself and the entire team at Delta Global are thrilled to have been awarded the gold standard EcoVadis accreditation – and to be placed in the top 5% of businesses, is an absolute honour.

‘Whilst sustainability remains at the forefront of all that we do, it feels such an achievement to be recognised for our ongoing efforts.’

There are numerous things that have contributed to this latest sustainability accreditation.

EcoVadis takes into consideration a business’s approach to the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement – and with an impressive score, Delta Global was granted the gold award.

The entire company ethos and deliverables are what has led to such an award – from the processes used, reports, policies and audits to implementing ethical and quality legislation.

Delta Global is FSC certified and is passionate about ESG responsibilities and ensures that all staff are regularly trained and up to date with the latest industry standards.

Having previously been awarded the silver EcoVadis award, Robert is keen to continue making improvements for a better, more sustainable future.

He said, ‘Following receiving the silver award in previous years, we identified the various areas for improvement and strived to make the necessary changes to achieve gold.

‘It is much more than that, though. Sustainability is at the heart of all that we do, and so we are passionate about focusing on future initiatives, targets and objectives for Delta Global, our team and supply chain, and the clients we work with.’

With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that Delta Global isn’t planning on stopping there. It continues to look to the future, keen to promote a circular economy, and will be no doubt aiming for platinum in the coming years.

‘We are aware that there is always more that can be done, which is why we work with our clients and partners to re-engineer products and packaging to be as green and eco friendly as possible,’ explained Robert. ‘And we introduced our sustainable supply chain services, Delta Global Intelligence to limit our impact and reduce our carbon footprint.’
