The Dantex Group is to install one of its latest high speed PicoJet inkjet presses from the new PicoJet 1200 series at Brazil based Color Pack in June this year. The sale marks the first PicoJet that the company has sold to a Latin American customer.
Founded in 2007, Color Pack has built its leading position in the region’s flexography market with investments in technology and provides a personalised service committed to producing labels and tags of the highest quality.
Its new machine is the flagship PicoJet 1200s Hybrid, six colour with CMYK plus white and orange as an additional colour station. Incorporating a print width of up to 350 mm and able to run at 75 metres per minute, the specification includes a flexo station with UV mercury lamp, and finishing options that include cold foil and full rotary die station with lamination, edge trim and slit.
Launched last year at Labelexpo Americas, the PicoJet 1200 series heralds a new era of advanced technical engineering, helping to further cement the company’s reputation as a leading global supplier of printing equipment and consumables. Built to the highest quality industry standards, each press is based on a modular design incorporating inline finishing and a new innovative touchscreen operating system.
Commenting on the investment, Color Pack’s director of operations, Jeancarlo Cardoso, said: ‘After extensive research into the digital press options available in the packaging industry, Color Pack has found the perfect technology to suit our needs. The PicoJet 1200s Hybrid digital press offers unparalleled cost benefits in terms of production speed and fixed quality, making it a valuable investment for our business. Additionally, the numerous converting options available inline provide flexibility and adaptability to our production process.
‘The hybrid digital flexo printing technology provided by this press, offers the widest gamut option available for its category, ensuring that we can produce high quality, vibrant designs. With quick setup, production, and turnover at the best possible quality, we have found a valuable partner to keep us competitive in the packaging industry. Dantex Group CEO, Ben Danon, added: ‘We are excited to be installing our first PicoJet in Latin America, particularly with it being our range topping 1200s Hybrid.
