Contra Vision joins FESPA UK’s Waste Management Accreditation Scheme

Print Solutions

Contra Vision has announced its participation in the FESPA UK Waste Management Accreditation Scheme, which now encompasses self-adhesive plastics and siliconized liners. This initiative represents a major advancement in sustainable waste management within the graphics industry, and Contra Vision is proud to support this initiative.

The FESPA UK Waste Management Accreditation Scheme has transformed waste management practices, helping businesses to increase recycling rates, eliminate landfill use, and achieve significant cost savings. The scheme provides comprehensive guidance and support, enabling businesses to effectively review and optimise their waste systems.

With the inclusion of self-adhesive vinyl and perforated window film there is now a viable route for Contra Vision’s one way vision products to be recycled in the UK.

‘We are very excited to be involved in this scheme and hope it is the beginning of a more sustainable future in the UK graphics industry. At Contra Vision we are focused on identifying ways to reduce the environmental impact of our products and we hope this will lead to more solutions being identified in the markets we serve around the world,’ said Nick Rigg, head of products and IP.
