Since its inception in 2010, Colordyne Technologies has specialised in engineering and manufacturing high quality inkjet engines and printers. With a commitment to delivering top tier inkjet technology and support, Colordyne has installed over 600 inkjet engines and benchtop systems globally. The company's mission is to help printers successfully integrate inkjet into their business and onto their existing equipment. It is renowned for developing innovative inkjet solutions, particularly for the narrow web label, packaging and commercial print industry.

With a foundation in technical expertise dating back to its parent company Microboards Technology's started in 1989, Afinia has served over 55 countries, providing dependable and cost effective printing equipment. The company is known for its focus on delivering high return on investment solutions and excellent customer service.

The sale of Colordyne's 1600 Series and 1800 Series benchtop business comes as the company shifts its focus towards higher volume production digital printing applications. Afinia will assume responsibility for consumables, spare parts, for all existing 1600 Series and 1800 Series customers. This acquisition allows Afinia to expand its installation base and enhance its service offerings.
