Color-Logic has certified the new Ricoh Flora X20 high productivity UV inkjet hybrid printer now being offered in Europe. The printer – available in versions featuring CMYK plus double white and CMYK plus white and clear – provides European printers a versatile machine ideally suited to signage and point of purchase production. In addition, the printer is appropriate for short run and prototype label and package printing, particularly when printing on metallic substrates.
Commenting on the certification, Color-Logic director of sales and marketing Mark Geeves said: ‘As European printers seek to satisfy market demands for complex metallic and tactile embellishments, Ricoh has responded with the new Flora X20 hybrid printer and pre and post sales support. We have tested samples from this new machine and heartily endorse it as suitable for volume production of designs incorporating the Color-Logic Metallic Color System.’
