In a bid to help customers increase their application production efficiency, improve automation and minimise downtime, Canon UK and Ireland has added a third party in line finishing solution to its portfolio – the SDD PTM7006 Press Trim Module booklet trimmer.
Exclusive to Canon, the SDD PTM7006 can be attached in line to an imagePress C910 or varioPrint 140 Series printer, enabling fast production of brochures and manuals in one streamlined operation, without additional handling or finishing steps. Trimming the long edge of booklets up to 6 mm thick, the module also flattens the spine to give a superior, professional appearance and makes packing, stacking and distribution easier. Customers can choose from two more options to further enhance booklet quality – a two-side trimmer for full bleed applications and a square fold module to achieve a completely square spine.
