bluemarlin, the global brand acceleration agency, has appointed Samantha Dumont as the new executive creative director of its new London headquarters.
Sam joins bluemarlin with extensive experience driving brand success across various sectors, with work in FMCG, beauty and drinks. Her addition marks the beginning of an exciting new era for the agency as it continues to innovate and expand on a global scale.
In her new role, Sam will focus on extending the agency’s capabilities across consumer goods and corporate clients, particularly in the growing beverage, personal care and energy sectors. Additionally, she will provide immediate leadership to the creative team, fostering a dynamic culture at the new studio in Shoreditch, managing the company’s future growth domestically and internationally.
‘bluemarlin has an incredible entrepreneurial attitude with a 30 year legacy, and I am excited to build on that foundation,’ said Sam. ‘My goal is to bring fresh energy and innovative thinking to the business while respecting the legacy and approach that has made bluemarlin so successful.’
Sam brings with her a wealth of experience, having transformed agencies and delivered outstanding results for major global brands such as Diageo, Nestlé, Masterfoods, Kenvue, Tesco and SCA. In addition to her agency leadership, she is the founder of Atissu, a brand that creatively reimagines everyday products.
Her approach to leadership is rooted in nurturing talent and environments where creativity thrives. ‘I have always believed in the power of mentorship,’ said Sam. ‘My aim is to create a space where designers can grow both professionally and personally.’
