Antalis launches new PVC free, recycled banners

Print Solutions

Antalis has introduced a new range of recycled, PVC free banners to its comprehensive range of materials for point of sale, signage, promotional and display applications.

The new product is Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled, one of the most environmentally friendly banner materials available. It is manufactured in Europe with post industrial waste, and is recyclable in polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) waste streams.

The range comprises 500 micron/490 g/m2 banner materials with two options:

Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled double sided banner: coated on both sides for excellent UV ink adhesion and with 99% opacity for double sided printing.

Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled Frontlit Greyback banner: featuring a matt white primed surface and a grey opaque backing. Contains a minimum of 95% recycled plastic.

Available in 1100 and 1150 mm widths, and roll lengths from 50 metres upwards, the banners are made with post industrial waste content, recyclable in PP waste streams, and have a primed coating, making them highly suitable for UV printability. European manufacture ensures they maintain a low carbon footprint, and they have an Antalis Green Star System rating of four stars.

Product manager for visual communications, Mike Collins, commented: ‘We are excited to be offering our customers a sustainable and environmentally friendly range of banners with superb print quality. The new additions will be dovetailed into the existing banner portfolio, and at Antalis, we can provide samples and a new easy reference guide to support customer selection of banner materials from our growing portfolio.’
