Print Solutions
Antalis will be bringing KernowPrint Eco Pro Lite HEPP, a durable synthetic paper, to the digital market with immediate effect. It is suitable for dry toner and HP Indigo digital presses.
This new addition will complement its existing range of specialist synthetic print products. It is produced by Kernow Coatings and is available from 150 to 432 g/m2 in a variety of sizes.
KernowPrint Eco Pro Lite HEPP is a polypropylene sheet produced with up to 40% natural mineral content. This mineral content reduces the need for plastic in its manufacture and lowers the product’s overall carbon footprint, creating a more environmentally responsible solution.
The product also benefits from being easier to recycle than some polyester based digital synthetics, with a category five recyclability rating. KernowPrint Eco Pro Lite HEPP is waterproof, weatherproof and chemical resistant, making it ideal for hardwearing applications that cover a wide range of industry types and end users including, manufacturing, retail, leisure, hospitality and education.
Product manager at Antalis, Paul Savill, commented: KernowPrint Eco Pro Lite HEPP is an innovative synthetic product that extends our existing wide portfolio of premium synthetic materials. The 40% mineral content and category five recyclability offers sustainable solutions for printers looking for new opportunities to create durable, attractive and more environmentally responsible end user applications.’
