Be creative: Design competition for children

Print Solutions: Positive About Print

Masterplanner and architect Stephen George + Partners, in conjunction with the Heaven Company, the force behind the incredible Brief Cases initiative for graphic arts students in universities, is running a fantastic mini design competition for younger children to keep them creative whilst away from school.

For three years, The Heaven Company has worked with Stephen George + Partners in providing 10 week lessons to children in school years 7 to 10 (ages 11 to 14). With the current circumstances, it was decided that this was a perfect opportunity to run a fun architectural inspired competition to keep both parents and children entertained; and there is a chance to win up to £100 in Amazon vouchers!

Children in age groups 7 and under, 8 to 11 and ages 12 to 15 have to create and design a house or living accommodation that they would like someone to live in. Choose who you would like to design for and bear that in mind when designing. Does a pop star need a music room? Does an athlete need a super-duper home gym? Does a fairy need a wand and wings room?

The competition closes on Friday 3 July 2020.
