Nazdar to reveal latest ink innovations at Fespa

Print Solutions

Nazdar Ink Technologies is to exhibit new and established inkjet, screen, and flexo inks, as well as examples of its special effects portfolio, on stand C75 at the forthcoming Fespa 2020 show.

The company will be debuting the new Nazdar 2800 series durable graphic screen ink. One of the first dual cure UV/UV-LED inks specifically formulated for the durable decal market, 2800 Series offers excellent adhesion on vinyl and print treated polyesters and boasts four year outdoor durability without an overprint. The 2800 Series exhibits excellent chemical resistance, accepts premask, and thermal die cuts without edge chipping. Five year outdoor durability can be achieved by overprinting with Nazdar 2829 Durable Overprint Clear.

As the market converts from conventional curing to LED, there is a need for both types of ink systems. Rather than duplicating these efforts, Nazdar is developing a range of dual curing inks, including the Nazdar 749 Series for roll to roll systems and the 710 Series ink for hybrid devices. Coming soon will a replacement to the 730 Series and 731 for flatbeds. The company has also updated an ink system for non-heated UV digital machines, delivering stronger density and colour strength as well as lower odour.

Fespa will also see Nazdar present its 2300 UV/UV-LED screen inks. This dual cure series, developed for the container market, is perfect for printing on various glass and plastic bottles used in the packaging of cosmetics, household chemicals and other similar applications, while offering energy savings and a smaller environmental footprint.

Nazdar 3500 Series and 3529/3539 screen inks, also on display, are designed for long term outdoor durability on premium pressure sensitive vinyl films for exterior applications, featuring excellent weatherability and chemical resistance.

The company’s eye catching Special Effects Inks binder will also showcase creative ways to harness speciality inks' capabilities, such as metallic finishes, phosphorescence and various textures.

Ink experts from Nazdar's technical service team, InkAnswers, will be on hand to answer visitors’ printing problems. Whether printing indoor or outdoor applications on paper, plastics, textiles, metal, glass, containers or packaging, there is a Nazdar ink that is right for every job.
