Packaging Solutions
The British Contract Manufacturers and Packers Association (BCMPA) will highlight the benefits of outsourcing services at this year’s Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging Show held on 11 and 12 September at Olympia in London.
Located on stand B36, the BCMPA team will present to brand owners, manufacturers, retailers and e-commerce companies the benefits of outsourcing their projects to BCMPA members. The recently launched new website featuring their expanded search facility, guide to services, news and events pages and online project enquiry form, will be demonstrated on-screen at the show.
Rodney Steel, BCMPA chief executive, commented: ‘We see many visitors across the food and drink, personal care and beauty and gift sectors looking to outsource, either because they don’t have the facilities in-house or they simply don’t have the time or capacity to do it themselves. The Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging Show provides a real focus for this market sector and enables us to have invaluable conversations with interested parties and explain how our members can help.’
BCMPA member Alexir Co-Packers will also be at the show on stand C32 focusing on its services in the food sector. Claire Summersby, marketing manager at Alexir, commented: ‘Packaging Innovations is always a great opportunity for us to showcase our customer’s innovations in an exciting and dynamic arena. We relish the chance to display the results of our third party manufacturing projects and hopefully help new customers to solve their packaging challenges too.’
‘A developing trend in the industry is for clients to outsource complete end to end projects which is reflected in our rebrand as ‘the Association for contract manufacturing, packing, fulfilment and logistics’,’ concluded Rodney Steel.
‘We are excited to be at the Packaging Innovations Show in London in its tenth year and support our members in their commitment to help clients deliver their products on time and on budget in line with fast changing market dynamics.’
