EBB Paper has added Invercote Digital to its portfolio. Manufactured in Sweden at the Iggesund Paper Mill, Invercote is the leading brand of solid paperboard and is renowned for its high quality print and finishing performance.
Invercote, Iggesund’s flagship product, has paved the way for digital printing on thicker paper material. The rapid development of digital presses and increasingly widespread interest in using digital print on packaging led Iggesund to take the next step with Invercote Digital.
Both Invercote G and Creato are resistant to cracking on the fold and offer market leading performance in this area that no other product can match, in addition they are odour and taint neutral and approved for food contact.
Invercote G is a one sided, triple coated matt SBS (Solid Bleached Sulphate) board that is perfect for packaging, greetings cards, book covers and commercial print applications, this is now also stocked in 460 x 320 mm and for the HP Indigo presses in 530 x 750 mm.
Invercote Creato is a two sided double coated matt SBS board and ideally suited for high quality packaging and where the boards need to be creased across both grain directions. Invercote Creato will be available in SRA3+.
Invercote Metalprint has also been added to complement the offering, metallic silver laminated board guaranteed for printing on HP 10,000, 12,000 and 30,000 series.
The new digital items join the existing range of boards for the graphical and packaging markets and are fully guaranteed on both toner based and HP Indigo presses. Invercote is the choice for the discerning buyer when looking for consistent quality when they need a thicker or stiffer material than usual.
Chris Sandwell, EBB sales and marketing director, acknowledged the benefit of adding another high profile brand to the EBB stock portfolio and support existing business with packaging and commercial print customers who are familiar with the benefits that Invercote brings to their business, ‘Our customers are demanding a wider choice of material, particularly digital products where we have seen considerable growth in recent years. Printers want quality products with a range of stock sizes backed by a consistent, reliable service,’ he said.
