Morgana Systems is joining with Xerox to present a print automation event to be staged on March 20 at the Xerox Innovation Centre in Uxbridge.
Additional joint sponsors include BPIF and Winter & Company, a supplier of creative coverings. The event is described as a journey of discovery, where automation and print meet the perfect finish. Elements under discussion, and being demonstrated, will include stock selection, personalisation, printing the job, laminating, foiling, die cutting, and envelope inserting.
Morgana equipment being used at the event includes the Laminator Pro 450, the Morgana RDC (rotary die cutter), and both the 160 and 224 Watkiss PowerSquare bookletmakers.
Commenting on the event, Ray Hillhouse, vice president off line business at Morgana, said: ‘Our friends at Xerox have put together an exciting programme focused on automation in print production – a topic very close to our hearts. It is the ideal event for printers seeking to get the most out of today’s equipment line up, reduce costs, and speed up production – basically that means it’s something that should appeal to every digital printer!’
