Packaging Solutions
Epson is to display a number of its label printer solutions at the Label & Print Show (stand G24). The company offers both industrial level SurePress technology for converters and end user solutions with the ColorWorks and LabelWorks portfolios.
At the show it will display three ColorWorks C7500 (one with a rewinder), a ColorWorks C3500 and a ColorWorks C831 as well as samples of the wide range of labels that can be produced on the SureColor aqueous and UV presses.
Dayle Guy, product manager for Epson (UK), said: ‘This is always a very busy show for us and, even at the snow hit event last year, the turnout over the two days was impressive. Hopefully, the weather will be kinder next month and even more will attend and see the Epson technology demonstrated. The portability, versatility and quality of the ColorWorks makes it a popular line with a wide range of companies. It is an entry level product for printers wanting to diversify into labels and an on the spot solution for many manufacturing, commercial and retail businesses.’
KTEC Group (stand H5), winner of the Epson ColorWorks partner 2018, will show the ColorWorks C7500, C7500G (for gloss labels) and C3500. ‘We have a large stand at Label & Print,’ said managing director Robert Knox. ‘It is always a very good show to promote Epson colour label roll printers which provide flexibility, increased market response times and cost savings for those wanting to print colour labels in-house.’
Partner Emax Label Solutions, participating for the second year, will present an extensive range of media for the ColorWorks models. In the past year, Emax successfully completed several projects for mattress and carpet labelling as well as handling work in the medical sector involving textile media. Solutions for bespoke applications were also successfully introduced using filmic and paper media. For 2019, Emax will focus on label solutions for the GHS, horticulture and garment labelling sectors. Several products for these applications will be on display during the show. Later this year Emax will open a dealer portal on its website, with the launch likely at Labelexpo in Brussels.
The AM Labels stand (G19) will have both the ColorWorks C7500 and C3500 models plus the partner’s own Select-a-Label system which incorporates a C3500. This is a touchscreen label printing system, typically used in restaurant and farm shop and deli applications.
