The 31st edition of Luxe Pack Monaco closed its doors after three very busy days that generated a larger business volume than ever before!
As usual, the outstanding array of exhibitors who attended the event in Monaco unveiled a host of innovations.
As always, well qualified delegates presented their prospective partners with numerous packaging development projects, all in a positive working atmosphere and with record attendances at the conferences: these were the impressive highlights of this very successful event!
Some 9280 specialists, 53% of them international, attended the show and the exhibitors were delighted with the level of awareness displayed by the visitors they talked to.
Luxe Pack's formula is further enhanced by a group of exhibitors who are experts in luxury. Some 470 exhibitors including some of the world's leading specialists were present at the show, 55 of whom were exhibiting for the first time.
Some 1860 people, an increase of 24% compared to 2017, attended the conference programmes on offer this year.
The topics covered were certainly varied, including some subjects of particular interest to professionals.
The largest audience, of more than 500 people, attended the session dedicated to sustainable development, during which a number of dedicated business and industry leaders, such as Laurent Boillot, CEO of Guerlain and its manufacturing partners, and the panel of sustainable development and CSR leaders from Chanel, Pernod Ricard, Guerlain, SBM and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, all spoke on the issue of traceability and transparency.
Also noteworthy were the large audiences for the decoding of Z generation by Luxe Pack trends experts, Pierre Katz's presentation on brand identity, as well as the packaging solutions made possible by additive manufacturing, particularly through the presence of the Chanel-Erpro partnership and their mascara produced using 3D printing.
The Luxe Pack dedicated digital village's programme combined conferences, round tables and exhibitor workshops. In addition to the exhibitor stands, it was an ideal opportunity to learn about the latest digital and related innovations for the packaging sector: applications, devices, QR codes, virtual reality, NFC, lighting, anti-counterfeiting, consumer relations and more.
