Bobst UK & Ireland has been awarded an Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation for the second year running.
The third party accreditation scheme, which rewards health and safety excellence in the workplace, is recognised by thousands of organisations in the UK as a benchmark amongst contractors.
Bobst’s ability to retain the accreditation reflects the company’s on-going commitment to maintaining excellent health and safety standards in all workplace environments and protecting the welfare of its colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Alan Letford, head of Customer Care at Bobst UK & Ireland, said: ‘HSE compliance continues to be a primary focus for our business. Securing this accreditation for the second year in a row reinforces our reputation of adhering to safe practices in all our working activities.’
In passing the Alcumus SafeContractor assessment, the company’s workforce demonstrated its continued application of good risk management. For example, the use of a timesheet management app allows service technicians and product specialists to log mandatory safety checks and highlight on-site concerns.
Alan continued, ‘We are extremely proud to cement our position as a health and safety leader in the industry with this accreditation but we don't rest on our laurels where HSE matters are concerned. We have implemented a range of initiatives to support continuous improvement in this area.’
