Sharp launches new monochrome machine

Print Solutions

Sharp has announced an addition to its A3 black and white line up, with a 26 page per minute entry level MFP. The MX-M2630 is a high specification device with external finishing capabilities which also offers the company’s multi-layered security features. Sharp’s security settings help companies to protect their data while it is stored, scanned and printed, to meet with GDPR compliance.

The MX-M2630 comes with a wide range of intuitive and time saving features as standard including a customisable user interface, accessed via a tiltable 7” LCD touchscreen. The user interface is the same as on all other Sharp MFPs, so users already familiar with Sharp devices will be ready to scan and print straight away.

The MFP includes a pull printing solution, which stores print jobs for authentication. Users can print securely from any networked MFP at a time and place that suits them, rather than waiting for an occupied MFP to become available. This means that documents are only printed when the user is at the device, preventing sensitive documents being left unattended in the printer tray.

Optional features for the MX-M2630 include easy integration with mobile and cloud applications. Cloud connectivity gives easy access via the MFP to popular applications including Microsoft OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Box and Google Drive via Sharp’s available Cloud Connect features.

The MX-M2630 strengthens the MX mono offering, which now consists of 11 models.
