Print Solutions
The Roland DG Academy is inviting anyone interested in learning more about print, 3D design, engraving, software or applications, to take part in its new webinars.
The webinars are free and accessible online, providing a convenient and useful tool for participants without having to leave their desk or print room.
The webinars will have the Roland DG Academy and Creative Centre manager Joe Wigzell as the host, with the option for collaboration with relevant parties and guests from all over the world. Joe is an authority on print systems and how to push them to their absolute limits of design potential, with the added benefit of having access to the vast knowledge base at Roland DG.
‘We are welcoming anybody with an interest in any of the many subjects we will be offering to this webinar platform: Roland customers, established businesses looking for something new, students, photographers – anyone with an eye for tech, diversification, honing skills or maybe looking for a little inspiration,’ said Joe.
The first webinar subject will be 'VersaUV S-Series – Overview with Q&A', taking place today (Tuesday, February 13 at 2.30pm GMT). The session will introduce the VersaUV S-Series, a new range of flatbed and belt UV-LED printers able to print onto practically any rigid or flexible substrate or object up to 200 mm in height.
The number of potential markets and applications for the S-Series is enormous, so webinar attendees will be invited to ask questions about the range, other Roland print systems and UV printing in general.
A session on 'Designing for UV' will continue the series in March, with further webinars to focus on other Roland DG products and how to get maximum results from them, plus application how tos, tips and tricks. With the ability to deliver sessions regularly and on demand, the Roland Academy is always open to suggestions and will be listening closely to market needs.
