Warren launches new board swatch

Print Solutions Packaging Solutions

Warren has announced that it is launching a new board swatch, illustrating a range of some 22 products from the world’s leading paper and board mills and manufacturers.

The new board swatch illustrates a varied range of products, including folding box boards, white lined chipboards, solid bleached sulphate boards, lined and unlined grades as well as speciality boards. All the products featured are either FSC and PEFC chain of custody certified or are recycled – apart from the air freshener and beermat boards.

With the launch of this new board swatch, Warren believes that it now has the most comprehensive range on the market and is confident that it has the product to suit any customer’s most demanding print jobs.

Managing director Kieran Ferguson stated, ‘Given the increasing demand for high quality graphical and carton boards in the commercial print sector, we have updated our product swatch to give our growing customer base a simple tool to allow them to identify the right product for their jobs. The design chosen allows us to not only highlight an individual product’s suitability for print but also to demonstrate its own unique surface characteristics. This, combined, with information on stock service, provides our customers with a simple yet functional and informative tool.’

The swatch cover was printed on Ensocoat 415 ums/330 g/m2 on a Komori Lithrone 28, using a four colour process with gloss lamination. The heavier weight samples in the swatch were litho printed on a Heidelberg CD 102 using a four colour process and water based coating. The remaining samples were printed on a Komori Lithrone 28 using a four colour process with a seal varnish.

Previously historically known only for its board products, Warren is now entering its third year of offering a range of quality, branded paper products.
