Catton Print adds cutting power

Print Solutions

Norwich based Catton Print has once again turned to Heidelberg for another Polar guillotine. It will replace a 1998 Polar 78ES with the latest Polar N78 Plus and will be delivered at the end of this month.

‘We like the quality of the Polar and the back up of Heidelberg UK,’ said Simon Laskey, managing director. ‘We know the quality of cut is good but you also know this is a machine to last which will give us years of use. It takes us to a screen based interface and gives us a more automated and productive machine.’

Catton Print is a 28 year old business with a reputation for regularly updating its kit. It offers a litho, digital and wide format print service and cut-fold-stitch finishing to a customer base which is largely in the East Anglian region. It offers a diverse range of print so the programmability of the Polar N78 Plus will be an asset.
