Natasha Berry of Printdot has been crowned as Young Signmaker of the Year at the recent BSGA British Sign Awards.

The Young Signmaker of the Year award, which was sponsored by Roland DG UK for the third consecutive year, rewards deserving sign makers under the age of 25 who are making an outstanding contribution to the UK sign industry through innovation, creativity or dedication.

Natasha Berry, who started work at Printdot in November 2013 having previously studied Graphic Design and Media at Walsall College, was nominated for the award by her boss, Keith Milford. He explained, ‘Natasha has created many eye catching signs in her role and assisted on many major projects. She is very committed, tough and ambitious and this recognition has been a long time coming.’

The BSGA award was given in specific recognition of Natasha’s work on a project for Wolverhampton based beauty salon, Rasila. The graphics she developed to transform the building were complex and included brick vinyl, Foamex and Contravision elements. Natasha managed the entire project from start to finish.

Natasha’s role at Printdot covers the full spectrum of printing – from design, through the printing process right up to helping with the installation. She has been known to climb up on the scaffolding to help install signage! Further highlighting her commitment to her work, Natasha was off to take down an installation as soon as the ceremony concluded.
