Print Solutions
In response to customer demand, Park Communications has announced announce that it has internalised large format production. By investing in ‘Park Display’ the company is able to bring more of its work in-house. The experienced team use creativity to add innovation and impact. Quality is guaranteed using the very latest new technology, together with Park’s renowned quality control.
Park’s Vutek GS3250LX is able to print in full CMYK, interpreting Pantone references, use white ink and spot varnish, with colour calibrated machines to ensure consistency for customers. It prints using eight colour inks, plus the option of white ink, and can handle media up to 3.2 metres wide and up to 50 mm thick. It is the fastest machine in our line-up, allowing us to produce graphics
Also in the department is a Fujifilm Acuity LED 1600 II, a hybrid printer that prints mainly roll to roll, but can also print onto rigid sheets. A key strength is in achieving the highest photographic quality. It prints using a six colour ink system, with the option of white, and a clear varnish, which can be either full or selective coverage.
There is also an HP Latex 570 is a roll to roll machine, which prints using Latex inks giving further longevity to print needed to last externally without lamination and be more scratch resistant, ie external signage. It prints using a six colour ink system and includes an ‘optimiser’ which helps the ink to cure, protecting the resolution of the print.
In cutting, there is a Dyss X7 2230, an XY cutter which can handle both rigid and roll to roll media, from vinyl through to Dibond. It can kiss cut, through cut, oscillate cut and rout. It can also crease and apply tape, where required, so that certain jobs can be finished by machine rather than by hand.
An Arkane 1650 Laminator is also in the department.
Alison Branch, Park managing director, said: ‘Our investment in Park Display is in response to customer demand. We have created a strong facility which has already delighted both existing and new customers.’
Nick Spain, Park Display manager, said: ‘It is a very exciting venture and we have already successfully printed and installed multiple projects, with many more in the pipeline. I can only see Park Display going from strength to strength.’
